- Noah rode a 2 wheel bike the other day for 100 yards or so, 4 times. He has been reluctant to try because he is concerned he will fall and get hurt. At the park the other day, a friend had a hotwheels bike that he was on and playing around with. I told him that I would help him and that if we rode on the grass that it wouldn't hurt if he fell. That seemed to work :). He rode quite well and did a good job balancing. I think he will pick it up quick if he keeps practicing... and learns how to stop :).
- Noah also has really learned to ride a 2 wheel scooter recently. He slowly worked up to it by dinking around in the garage over the winter. Now he can scooter around the neighborhood without much issue. Now he wants to move up to "tricks"
- Katy is really getting into reading these days. Over the last few nights, she has read me "The Going to Bed Book" in its entirety (with help on 4 words), and the first 30 or so pages of Green Eggs and Ham. She is very good at sounding out words.
- Noah had a great day playing baseball at the park with the older kids in the neighborhood. One of the dads was pitching and he hit the ball hard each time he was up to bat. His first time with a person pitching to him. He really enjoyed it. I have visions of a gang of boys spending each summer day over at the park near our house playing baseball and other sports in the near future.

Kid Milestones
Katy and Noah have been doing some amazing things recently and I thought I would take a moment to list a few.
