First, he asking me what rides (amusement) do I dislike. I provided my answer that the "Gravatron" and the another ride that spins around. He then ask me if the second was a "3D ride" He then said that a ferris wheel was "2D". I ask him to explain what 2D means vs 3D, and he stated "2D are things that you can easily draw on a sheet of paper. 3D things have more stuff than fits on paper". I though this was a very accurate, simple description of a concept that challenges older kids.
I ask the question back to him. With a shutter, he said "Small World". The then mimics the puppets with his own variant of the dance and song they sing. I ask him was it the song or the puppets that he didn't like, he stated, "both... they are freaky"
A little while later, one of the bed slats collapsed under Noah's bed and one corner of the matric fell to the floor (it was broken previously). After picking it up, Noah stated, "Dad, you need to slim down a few pounds." Surprised and curious, I ask him how much I needed to loose or how much I should weigh. After a moment, he states, "Until you get to Normal or Underweight on Wii Fit". I was both entertained and pleased with his answer. He may not know the exact answer for how much I weigh, but could direct me to a tool by which we could both answer the question (he has used Wii Fit more than an traditional scale, BTW).
