Difficult football days

So Noah's 3rd grade football team (Sunset high youth football) started their team-focused practices this week. It has been pretty tough on Noah, especially since many of the normal "drills" are new to him.

The cousins and us have been working on teaching him "Bear crawls" and "Karaoke steps" so he can kinda keep up with what is going on.

On Tuesday Noah told me, "he wasn't sure if this football thing was for him". We got him to hand in there though.

On Wed, Noah ended up sitting down about 15 min into the practice and stayed sitting for 45 min or so. One break hit, Sara inquired about why he was sitting, and he said that his mouthpiece was hurting him so much he didn't want to put it in. The coaches wouldn't let him play without a mouthpiece, so they just had him sit out. He was fine just hanging out and watching the practice (a Noah-ism). Sara managed to find some scissors, trimmed up the mouth piece, and he went storming back into the practice.
