Noah becomes a Boy Scout

Noah completed his Cub Scout career today! He just completed the crossing over ceremony at Pack 208's annual Blue and Gold dinner.  We couldn't be prouder of him and pleased that he is interested in continuing into Boy Scouts.

Troop 728 did most of the ceremony work, including the Arrow of Light ceremony and presentation.  They did a great job.

During the graduation presentation (all of the boys where up on stage), the den leader ask the boys to shout out what they liked best about scouting.  After a few of the boys shouted out a few common things, Noah ask for the microphone, where he precede to tell the audience that his best times in Cub Scouting was being with friends and that he was dedicated to never quiting Boy Scouts and wanted to achieve the highest rank (Eagle Scout).   It was quite touching and certainly one of the most heartfelt exhibits of the evening.

Noah goes on to join Boy Scout Troop 728.   He met several of them tonight, and seemed quite pleased to be a part of that crew.
