The kids second day at Sun River was also fun filled. During the morning, we did a float down the Deschutes river from Sun River. The river is just a calm flow in this area and takes about 3 hours to go down. The kids did great on the float and seemed to enjoy themselves.
For Noah, the key to the float was the watergun we purchased on the way to the Marina. It is amazing how long a kid can be entertained shooting a water gun up in the air. To his credit, he was very good about not getting anyone wet while he was playing.
The rest of the day was spent visiting friends in Bend and then going out to eat in the evening.
