Precocious Photographers

During our last playdate, Noah and Katy used my digital camera to pretend they were photographers. My role in the game was to be their editor, and they took turns getting assignments from me. Their approaches varied. Noah wanted to skew each assignment so that it was a bit irreverent. He wanted to take pictures of butts and feet. He also was fond of extreme close-ups.

Noah: (said through giggles) I’m going to take a picture of MYSELF.
Katy: That’s called a self-portrait, Noah.

As for Miss Katy, she took the fashion photographer, never-stop-shooting approach. She’d spin around the room, taking pictures at every angle. And when her assignment was to take a picture of Noah, she preferred to catch him in action rather than taking a “say cheese” posed shot.

I know it looks like he’s about to use the track as a weapon, but I promise, he never did.
