Jog-a-thon
Noah has a fundraiser today: jogathon. They send all the kids out to run laps for pledges. Great weather we're having. I'm sure he's going to LOOOOVE running in the rain. And boy it'll be fun standing out there watching him. He actually refused the other day in gym class to do a practice lap around the jogathon track. Threw a sit down protest halfway around the track. His PE teacher was totally perplexed by it. I just rolled my eyes and said "that's Noah". In order to increase my chances of Noah actually making it around the track without having another protest, I'm trying a new tactic... bribery. Hmm... ok, I use bribery on Noah all the time, it's called rewards but the 'new' part here is that I'm bribing someone else... my 8 year old niece, Ally, who also goes to Noah's school. Oh yes, I've told her that she will get *something* special if she can get Noah all the way around the track. She said she'd carry him if she had to AND that she'd have done it anyway w/o me enticing her with something special. Noting that for next year.
